Plan for self employed

Do SC have plans for self employed personnel.

I am thinking more in construction but this could be any area where self employed individuals enter the workplace as a contractor or group of contractors.

I have voiced this before and I would like to be part of any other contractor led initiatives.

I really want to get to personnel that are sometimes missed and have to in most cases pay for or train themselves etc.

Although individuals this does account for millions of personnel who are at the coal face.

On looking at onboarding this may fit. I like the feel this may start to take shape and I like the innovation the control of lots of people needs to be considered when we look at the competency profile (currently training matrix).

Credentials, training, internal practicals, external training...and more may be better not just in a matrix but an Ai defined dashboard that show targets and gaps.

So when we look at competencies against set criteria this is simple.

Just my opinion but the current matrix feels a bit bulky.

If we can get to these contractor related items in place and simplify the way we view and check these then we can really challenge targets for contractors that relate to objectives.

This links to inspections, audits, assets, issues and documents.

So what we plan, do check and act upon can be quantified.
