Everything you need to know about being a great community member - simple, clear, and respectful.
Community Guidelines
Our Core Principles
We share knowledge generously
Knowledge is for everyone, not a competitive advantage.
We grow stronger together by sharing best practices, workflows, templates, and experiences.
Ask questions, share insights, and help others succeed - your knowledge could make a huge impact!
Continuous improvement, not perfection
Safety & operational excellence is a journey, not a one-time achievement.
Mistakes happen - we learn, improve, and adapt.
Share both successes and lessons learned. Progress is more important than being perfect.
Innovation comes from trying, failing, and iterating - we encourage experimenting with new ideas.
Everyone has a voice
The best ideas can come from anyone, whether you're a frontline worker or an executive.
All contributions matter. No matter your background or experience, your insights are valuable.
Be open to different perspectives diversity of thought leads to better solutions.
We encourage engagement from all levels - whether you're asking, answering, or sharing experiences.
Better community guidelines
1️⃣ Be respectful and professional
Challenge ideas, not people. Healthy debate is encouraged, but always remain constructive.
Keep it professional, inclusive and polite. Personal attacks, harassment, discrimination, and offensive language will not be tolerated.
Respect cultural and industry diversity. We come from different backgrounds, let’s learn from each other.
2️⃣ Share knowledge and collaborate
No gatekeeping. We succeed by lifting others up, not keeping knowledge to ourselves.
Recognize contributions. Say thanks, upvote helpful posts, and acknowledge great ideas.
Give more than you take. The best communities thrive when members share freely.
Be honest. Share real experiences and avoid spreading misinformation.
3️⃣ Stay on topic and be relevant
Keep discussions aligned with workplace operational excellence, such as safety, efficiency and quality.
No spam or excessive self-promotion. Sharing relevant resources is fine, but blatant promotion isn’t.
4️⃣ Protect privacy and confidentiality
Respect personal and company information. Do not share any confidential details about your workplace, colleagues, clients/customers and the like.
Obtain permission before sharing someone else’s content or data.
SafetyCulture employees will always identify themselves, and you can identify them by the SafetyCulture logo on their profile picture as well as the “SafetyCulture Crew” rank. SafetyCulture employees will never ask you for your account credentials, billing information, or self-identifying information through the community.
5️⃣ Follow platform policies and legal requirements
Abide by SafetyCulture’s Terms and Conditions, Terms of Use and these community guidelines.
Report misconduct. If you see a violation, flag it or notify one of our Community Managers or moderators.
Moderation and enforcement
To keep our community safe and valuable, our Community Managers or moderators may take action if these community guidelines are violated:
🔹 Content Management: Editing or removing inappropriate posts.
🔹 Member Warnings: Issuing warnings for guideline violations.
🔹 Account Actions: Temporary or permanent suspensions for repeated violations from the community and some instances the SafetyCulture platform.
