We're simplifying how files are attached to training courses by limiting Briefcase access and promoting linking files from Documents, giving you a cleaner, more connected way to manage training materials.
What's new:
- Briefcase access changes: New sign-ups and existing organizations without stored briefcase documents will no longer see Briefcase in Training. This reduces clutter and encourages adding files from the Documents feature instead.
- Link files from Documents: Add or link files from Documents directly to courses so learners access training materials in context, and admins manage files centrally.
- Existing briefcase items retained: If you already have briefcase files, you can still view them, but cannot upload new ones. We recommend migrating files to the file lesson slides in your course for easier management.
We made this change to create a simpler, more consistent training experience. It's available now on the web app.
