We reduced lockout times and improved SMS delivery so you can verify your mobile number faster and with fewer interruptions.
What's new:
- Persistent countdown: The resend timer now stays active across pages and refreshes, so you know exactly how long before you can request another code.
- Shorter lockout: If verification fails, you can try again after 1 hour instead of waiting 24 hours, reducing delays to finish setup.
- More reliable delivery: We improved the verification flow to increase the likelihood you receive one-time passcodes when adding your number.
We’ve rolled this out now — the update is available immediately on the web app for all users.
